1. How may I sell my music in the downloadshop of profimusic?
Now it is very easy to sell your music on profimusic and for doing this you do not need 12 tracks or press 1000 Cds. Simply send us your songs in the form of audio-files (burned on a CD), a cover and with our printed form and we then will examine, if the music you sent corrisponds to our criterias for a release in our downloadshop. Naturally you already may have thousands of songs, you may already have pressed tenthousands of Cds and still call for our service. For the release in our Downloadshop you do not have to pay any duty. Link to the form.

2. How do I pay in music download shop?
When you purchase a music download the following options are at your disposal:
• Paypal (including credit cards: Visa, Master Card, American Express)
• Directebanking.com (eBanking)

3. How do I downlaod a song?
After the receipts of payment you will see on the right side a box with a link which will lead you to your available downloads. You may also get through the link on the upper left your account to your downlaods.

4. Burning of songs on a CD.
We offer you songs in the MP3 format. MP3-titles from profimusic may be played on any MP3- enabled set, as for example iPod, Zune, BlackBerry and most multimedia-cellular phones. MP3-files are exempted from digital rights-management (DRM). You may burn these files on CD, play on any of your computers and copy them on any of your digital musical players. Our MP3-titles are mostly coded with the optimal MP3-quality of 320 kbps. This means, you get high-value audio-quality at reasonable size of files.

5. Transfer on a portable player.
You may use any software for the transfer on a portable player, further more do no not have to take care of the compatibility, as any portable digital musicplayer support MP3. The songs may be unlimited often transfered on the player.

6. Which file-formats does profimusic offer in the downloadshop?
The songs in our downloadshop are in the MP3-format and mostly coded with 320 kbps.

7. What is a ZIP-file?
A compressed, i.e. reduced file, which contains all songs of an album, the MP3 of an audio-book or the texts of a songbook, so that you may download these with a click. Files may be easily unpacked with an appropriate programme, for example 7-Zip. With Windows you may unpack the file by clicking on it with the right mouse-button and you chose extract all... in the Menu that appears.

8. During the download I had some problems with my PC and had to start it again. How do I now get to the songs I had purchased?
You do have, at any time, the possibility to download the songs another time through your clients-account (the link on the upper left in our onlineshop).

9. I cannot find the downloaded songs any more.
In case you had problems to save the songs, because the Windows Media Player plays these directly but stores them only temporarily, we recommend to change the setting of the browser as follows (only for Internet Explorer): Click on the standard switch-surface on media and the Windows Media Player should open in the browser. Click on Media-options and then on setting. Deactivate now reproduce webmedias in the fillet. Now you should at every click on download be asked where you want the song to be saved. After storing it, you may play the song on your hard disc drive as usually.

10. On which music player is it possible to play the downloads of profimusic?

1. Wie kann ich meine Musik im Downloadshop von profimusic verkaufen?
Jetzt lässt sich ganz einfach deine Musik auf profimusic verkaufen und dazu brauchst du auch keine 12 Tracks oder 1000 Cds zu pressen. Sende einfach deine Songs als Audio-Files (auf CD gebrannt), einem Cover und mit unserem Formular zu und wir prüfen anschliessend, ob die eingesendete Musik unseren Kriterien für eine Freischaltung in unserem Downloadshop entspricht. Natürlich darfst du auch bereits tausende von Songs haben, zehntausende von Cds bereits gepresst haben und unseren Dienst trotzdem in Anspruch nehmen. Für die Aufschaltung in unserem Downloadshop bezahlst du keine Gebühren. Link zum Formular

2. Wie bezahle ich im Music Download Shop?
Beim Einkauf eines Music Downloads stehen dir folgende Optionen zur Verfügung:
• PayPal (inkl. Kreditkarten: Visa, Master Card, American Express)
• Yellownet Postfinance
• Postcard Postfinance
• Vorkasse (Download ist erst nach erfolgter Überweisung verfügbar)
• Rechnung (nur möglich bei gemischtem Warenkorb, jedoch ist Download erst nach Begleichung der Rechnung verfügbar)

3. Wie lade ich einen Song runter?
Nach Zahlungseingang siehst du auf der rechten Seite eine Box mit einem Link der zu deinen verfügbaren Downloads führt. Auch kannst du über den Link oben links "Ihr Konto" zu deinen Downloads gelangen.

4. Songs auf CD brennen
Wir bieten dir Lieder im MP3 Format an. MP3-Titel von profimusic können auf jedem MP3-fähigen Gerät, wie z.B. iPod, Zune, BlackBerry und den meisten Multimedia-Handys abgespielt werden. Die MP3-Dateien sind frei von digitalem Rechte-Management (DRM). Du kannst diese Dateien auf CD brennen, auf jedem deiner Computer abspielen und sie auf alle deine Abspielgeräte überspielen. Du kannst jede beliebige Software zum Transfer auf deinen portablen Player benützen, zudem musst du dich nicht um die Kompatibilität kümmern, da jeder portable Musikplayer MP3 unterstützt. Die Songs können unbeschränkt oft auf den Player transferiert werden.

6. Was für Dateiformate bietet profimusic im Downloadshop an?
Die Lieder in unserem Download Shop sind im MP3-Format und meist mit 320 KBit/s codiert.

7. Was ist eine ZIP-Datei?
Eine komprimierte, also verkleinerte Datei, die alle Lieder eines Albums, das MP3 von einem Hörbuch, oder die Texte eines Songbuches enthält, damit du diese mit einem Klick runterladen kannst. Dateien lassen sich mit einem entsprechenden Programm, zum Beispiel 7-Zip, mühelos entpacken. Bei Windows kannst du die Datei entpacken indem du mit der rechten Maustaste draufklickst und "Alle extrahieren…" aus dem erscheinenden Menu auswählst.

8. Während dem Download hatte ich Probleme mit meinem PC und musste ihn neu starten. Wie komme ich nun zu den gekauften Liedern?
Du hast jederzeit die Möglichkeit über dein Kundenkonto (Link oben links in unserem Onlineshop) die gekauften Files noch einmal runterzuladen.

9. Ich kann die runtergeladenen Lieder nicht mehr finden.
Falls du Probleme hattest die Lieder abzuspeichern, weil der Windows Media Player direkt diese abspielt aber nur temporär speichert, empfehlen wir die Browsereinstellungen wie folgt zu ändern (nur für Internet Explorer): Klicke in der Standartschaltfläche auf "Medien", dabei müsste der Windows Media Player im Browser aufgehen. Klicke auf "Medienoptionen" und danach auf "Einstellung". Deaktiviere nun "Webmedien in der Leiste wiedergeben". Nun müsstest du eigentlich jeweils beim Klick auf Download angefragt werden, wo du den Song gespeichert haben willst. Nach dem Speichern, kannst du die Songs auf deiner Festplatte wie üblich abspielen.

10. Welcher portable Music Player spielt die Downloads von profimusic ab?
Sämtliche derzeit auf dem Markt erhältlichen portablen Player unterstützen das MP3 Format.
